Our goal was to transform both the front and back areas of the home into practical yet inviting spaces where friends and family could gather year-round.
From the beginning, the design plan focused on creating multiple outdoor areas, including a revamped driveway and carpark that were reimagined as stylish gathering spaces. The result? A complete landscape makeover that balances elegance with usability—an inviting space that feels like an extension of the home’s interior renovation.
Design Highlights: Blending Functionality and Aesthetics
The design for this project incorporated a range of landscape elements to maximize both function and beauty:
Hardscaping and Irrigation: We introduced a new walkway leading to the home, along with an updated hardscape patio perfect for outdoor dining. An irrigation system was installed to maintain the health of the new plantings throughout the seasons.
Entertainment-Focused Spaces: The carpark was transformed into a stylish outdoor lounge with a fire pit, inviting guests to relax and gather in an area that was once underutilized.
Plant Selection for Charleston's Climate: Our landscape designer selected low-maintenance plantings such as jasmine vines and hydrangeas to ensure lasting beauty that thrives in Charleston’s climate.
